The company:
Our clients are looking for a Customer Service Star in International Freight Forwarding to join their medium sized freight forwarding businesses. As their CS person, you will have previous experience in a CS role in freight forwarding or our client may consider someone from a sales support or import operations background.
The roles will include, (however not limited to):
- Plenty of client liaison (you may have your own client base)
- Order placement to overseas origin offices
- Monitoring the importation of goods, right through to delivery to the final customer
- Providing order status updates to clients
- Updating rates, costings and quotes when required
Requirements for the role:
- Must have knowledge and experience of International Freight Forwarding
- Candidates with Customer Services, Import Operations or Sales Support backgrounds will be considered
- You will need to have excellent communication skills, be customer focused and enjoy the high pace and demands of the industry.
Remuneration:
The salary will be dependent on your previous experience and skills however for an intermediate to senior, salary will be approximately mid $60k. Our client may go higher but again, will depend on your level of experience.
