Working within a highly visible and successful team this role will ultimately assist in the development and implementation of new functions to enhance the capabilities of the wider function either within a back filling context or direct project involvement.
The key responsibilities are:
- Preparation of interim and annual financial statements
- Analytical review of financial statements.
- Completion of other regulatory reports and returns
- Ad hoc project work.
The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in a finance related discipline, with a strong systems and numerical bias. Experience within a treasury or financial services environment is preferred although the ideal candidate may be sitting within an audit or consulting environment looking to combine their finance and systems skills in one role.
Previous experience in systems projects is essential as is an advanced practical knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of financial instruments is also desired.
