About the role
The new role available of "Factory Process Worker" is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to continue to grow their career in a modern fast-growing business.
The new role will answer directly to the Floor Manager.
Work hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5:00pm.
Skills and experience
The qualities and attributes essential for this position are:
- Excellent communication skills with friendly, warm personality and positive attitude
- Impeccable work ethic and punctuality
- Accuracy and detail, with good numeracy skills and numbers focused.
- New technology orientated, competent with modern computer programmes and systems
- Willing to learn new skills and be trained by senior staff
- Proven ability with a good track record and references or above average high school or tertiary qualifications that demonstrate excellence
Key responsibilities include:
- Working along side current factory staff to carry out the day to day operations by following detailed work schedules for the various activities including:
- Grain intake monitoring and handling
- Loading and unloading germination boxes and kilns
- Carrying out wash downs and clean up
- Operating and monitoring hot water heating systems
- Operating the malt roasting system's including all functions
- Bagging and palletising
- Picking and packing orders
- Loading out product to containers and bulk line haul
- Entering product data and analysis sheets for customers
Experience required:
Although full training will be provided it is expected that the applicant will have several years of factory/process work experience or similar hands on experience in mechanical or outdoor operations.
Key advantages for this position (but not essential) are current Forklift License and or Class 5 Drivers Licence.
Work hours 7:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
