The Role
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager your duties will include;
- Assisting with the external audit process and investor reporting
- Manage the quarterly and annual taxation functions and ensure effective tax planning is in place
- Improve systems and processes that relate directly to the companies’ finance and compliance obligations
- Annual statutory financial reporting for multi-site businesses across New Zealand
- Produce valuation reports relating to stock, fixed assets, shares and other investments
Your Profile
- CA qualified with experience working in a top tier Public Practice Firm in New Zealand
- Have a strong focus on seeking to continuously improve systems and business processes
- Be a good user of MS Excel and able to learn new accounting systems / ERP’s quickly
- Happy working in an evolving, changing and dynamic SME with ambitious growth plans
- A working knowledge of IRFS standards and have worked on IFRS Accounts
