The role:
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our team on a 5 month fixed term contract with the potential to extend. Your role will be to provide a complete, accurate and on-time picking, packing, receiving and dispatching of paint products and accessories. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be required to maintain an efficient working space of the warehouse.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Packaging, receiving deliveries of packing stock and checking stock quantities
- Receive deliveries of bulk stock, ensuring correct quantities and providing a record to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Re-jacket and barcode shelves as required
- Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-around target
- Operate forklift and other equipment as required
- Communicating stock discrepancies to Warehouse Management team in a timely manner
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- A valid forklift license
- Completion of higher school certificate
- Comfortable with using computers & ERP systems
- Previous training and skill development certificate
