About the company:

My client is an established New Zealand bank with a proud history of serving communities by providing innovative banking products in Household, Business and Rural. They are now looking to recruit a Credit Manager for their Business and Rural teams to deliver best possible customer outcomes.

About the role:

Reporting to the Head of Credit – Business and Rural you will assess Business, Rural, SME and Asset lending applications, make critical lending whilst conducting business ethically and with integrity, maintaining alignment with the Bank’s brand values.

As Credit Manager you will comply with the bank’s credit policy and lending standards, whilst making quality lending decisions including the ability to act independently within discretionary limit. You will maintain an accurate record of credit decisions and monitor the level of credit capability of sales and analyst teams combined with contributing to the Credit Accreditation Framework.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you will have extensive credit decisioning experience, relating to lending submissions for business / rural clients, from within a Banking or Financial Services environment. Your effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills combined with strong commercial acumen and financial analysis skills will stand you in great stead to thrive in this role.
