You will be working with designer homeware products that are sold in the leading retailers nationwide. Due to internal promotions, yes plural, right now there is an opportunity to become a part of this success story as their new Purchasing and Product Coodinator. 

We are looking for a self- starter and proactive thinker! This is an integral role within the organization, one that is in direct communication with so many areas of the business and external suppliers.

You:

Maybe you are currently in a purchasing or junior product role wanting more responsibility?  Or maybe you are looking for a change in environment and want to be part of a fun and inclusive company culture? 

Previous experience in the following areas will be essential to your success:

• Experience in inventory management and planning
• Reconciling all stock movements in NZ and monitoring and analyzing stock usage, forecasting and reporting.
• Logistics – negotiate with freight forwarders and ensure all documentation is completed and compliance requirements met.
• Prepare purchase orders, negotiate and liaise directly with overseas factories
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups etc.)

The team is small and achieve big!  It is all hands on deck and even the Country Manager does whatever is needed.  In addition to the key role functions above, you will also attend local retailer meetings, arrange for samples to be displayed in the showroom and provide back-up customer service and general office support.

With so much variety and responsibility we need a self-starter who enjoys a down to earth and relaxed environment. Although part of a global brand you will be someone who really enjoys having a broad role and is happy with the higher level aspects of the role but who is also happy to get on with the nitty gritty and assist with other areas of the business.
