We're a specialised team in our Enterprise Risk area and we're on the lookout for a Risk Expert that has a passion for making Kiwis better off.

In this role, you'll be involved in all risk disciplines, including but not limited to credit, liquidity, operational risk and compliance etc. You'll also play an integral part in supporting and assisting in driving the agenda for our executive and board risk committees as well as having ownership of monitoring and reporting against our risk appetite. In this role you will be involved with others in the timely collation of content and subsequent composition of papers and reports for our various risk committees. And on complex and specialised risk issues, you'll help educate stakeholders in the business on how to identify and define the right issues through constructive feedback. You will also be leading the development and manage the on-going requirements and improvements in the model suite. This is an exciting and key role within our organisation!

What will you need to hit the ground running in this role:

• Prior experience as a business analyst, ideally in a risk discipline
• Experience in financial services is advantageous
• Excellent and proven written and oral communication skills
• A proven ability to form mutually beneficial and strong business relationships
