Pacific Simulators 2010 Ltd is a Flight Simulator manufacturer with a factory based in Christchurch. Founded in 2002, we manufacture a range of high-fidelity Flight Simulator Training Devices (FSTDs) for a variety of markets including pilot training, AME (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) training, entertainment and private use. Our FSTDs are located in around a dozen countries including Australia, China, France, Indonesia, Kuwait, Malaysia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand and USA.
You will be joining a team of passionate people all working together with a common goal to produce high quality devices with passion and pride to succeed in their individual roles. You should bring to the role a willingness to learn, to grow and to contribute to the ever-increasing high standards of work within our company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Running electrical, data and network cabling.
• Assembling of power and IO boxes.
• Assembly and interfacing of electromechanical components.
• Assembly of simulator instrument panels.
• Operating equipment to manufacture components as required.
• Assisting with inhouse change management.
Key Skills:
• Soldering of electronic and electrical components.
• Confident with power and hand tools i.e. battery drill, hacksaw etc.
• Good knowledge of electronics.
• Ability to identify and rectify faults.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Full class 1 New Zealand driver’s license.
• An interest in aviation is an advantage but not essential.
