We are seeking a motivated self starter for the position of Port Agent to be based in our Auckland office.

This position will cover the full range of port agency functions as well as exposure to our other maritime business streams.  We are seeking a maritime professional, with a positive, "can do" attitude, someone who is capable of working under pressure, to tight deadlineswith a strong focus on detail as well as the ability to work in a close-knit team and who has proven problem solving skills.

The individual will have excellent written and oral communication skills, the ability to multitask and to be able to think on their feet. The successful applicant will be required to work rostered after hours and weekend work.

This position will be based in Auckland, however travel will be required from time to time covering other ports in New Zealand as well as some international travel.  

A competitive salary commensurate with experience and a fully maintained company vehicle will be provided to the successful applicant.

Wilhelmsen Ships Service Ltd offers a vibrant workplace within a supportive team environment.  This position will report directly to our Ship Agency Manager.
