Driver - Class 2

Our Gisborne based Collections team are looking for a Class 2 Driver to join our team, predominately for collections in our Gantry division. This role would suit a self-motivated candidate, who will be responsible for operating a gantry vehicle in order to carry out the safe collection of refuse for commercial customers.

Working with customers, safety & customer satisfaction is of upmost importance.

The ideal candidate for this role:
o Will hold a clean Class 2 licence (or above)
o Will have 2+ years proven driving experience in a professional role (Gantry experience would be an advantage however full training would be provided)
o Has a sound understanding of Health & Safety and NZTA's Worktime and Logbook requirements
o Possesses good level of physical fitness
o Confidently knows geographical area around Gisborne area
o Will be self-motivated and approachable
o Is able to complete paper work in a timely manner
o Works well as part of a team
This role is approximately 32 hours per week

All new Drivers are trained and assessed on our fleet of vehicles.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (including drugs test) and complete a Ministry of Justice criminal records check, the results of which must be to EnviroNZ's satisfaction.
