We are seeking reliable and hard working container workers to work with our esteemed client in Upper Hutt. Devanning involves checking containers that have arrived from overseas ensuring all products are unloaded and stacked correctly onto pallets as well as the quantities and products are checked against documentation. You'll need to be fast and diligent at unloading stock, be comfortable with heavy lifting, work well in a team, with the ability to unload loose pallet, demonstrate accurate stock count and be physically fit. You must: * Previous experience in Devanning preferred * Be reliable * Be hard working * Be able to lift up to 30kg * Have reliable transport * Be respectful and polite to people In return for your hard work you will receive: * Competitive rates * Ongoing work for the right candidates * Weekly pay Our client has requested the right people for the job, therefore you must be able to: * pass a pre employment drug test * have a clean criminal record (a Ministry of Justice report application is part of the interview process) * Be available for a roster including weekends 1st Call Recruitment; 1st in safety, 1st in people, 1st in results. Please note, you must be already in NZ with citizenship/residency or an unrestricted NZ work visa to be considered for this role.
