Transactional Implementation Manager

Westpac New Zealand’s Transactional and Client Services (TCS) team is a market leader in delivering complex payments, technology and data solutions to commercial, corporate, institutional and government customers.
About the role:
You will deliver service excellence to select high value transactional intensive customers that have agreed to transition their banking services to Westpac, or require implementation of certain transactional products or services within the context of their existing relationship with Westpac. You will be responsible for arranging and managing the establishment of electronic banking facilities for these customers and provide them with appropriate user training.
A major barrier to the acquisition of new high value, transactional intensive customers is the perceived cost and disruption in changing banks. A key function of your role will be to alleviate this concern through the provision of project management methodology, demonstrating that any change process will be seamless and professionally managed.
You will work closely with our sales teams and their respective customers to interpret customer needs. As a Transactional Implementation Manager, you will get the best of both worlds – a challenging and rewarding role in a supportive team environment.
What you’ll need to succeed:- Good technical and business understanding of payment-related products (including Electronic Banking channels)
- Experience working with stakeholders with strong influencing skills
- Proven evidence of execution and delivery capability
- Outstanding communication skills – you will be presenting to new and existing customers as well as completing training requirements specific to each customer
- Great project management skills and multi-tasking ability – it is usual to be managing multiple work requests and implementations
