Lockheed Martin NZ currently encompasses 260 + employees and operates through six sites in Auckland, Trentham, Palmerston North, Burnham, Wellington and Waiouru.  Our primary customers include the NZ Defence Force, Fire and Emergency NZ and the NZ Police, in addition to other government, local government and private sectors.

This unique role sits within our customer’s structure, (NZ Defence Force) and forms part of the Trade Training School’s warehousing team, managed by Lockheed Martin.
The primary purpose of this team is the daily maintenance and management of the Trade Training School’s supply store. Inventory management is a large part of this role, ensuring data integrity of all equipment held within the Trade Training School through stocktaking, receipt, issue, inspection and processing of equipment held on account, through SAP.

As part of the wider warehousing team your duties will also include the management of equipment loaned in and out, uplift and return, picking, packing and quality checking of inventory for storage and issue.


To be successful in this role the skills and abilities required include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Previous warehousing, stores and inventory management experience
• Experience in the operation of SAP Inventory Management system
• Knowledge of health and safety, including safe work practices as some heavy lifting is required
• Knowledge and experience in NZ Army procedures and practices is highly desirable
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Full Class 1 Driver’s Licence
