We are seeking an energetic, motivated, reliable and honest person who has the maturity and drive in the organisation, delivery, setup and pack down of our event decor products for events.
This is a physical hands on role, duties include picking and packing, cleaning, storing of hire equipment, delivery and building/installing hire decor for events.
You will have a flair for logistics with a high-energy can-do attitude. We are looking for a warehouse/operational star who has a practical approach to their work, a logical mind, with strong initiative to join our fast-paced and dynamic organisation
Key responsibilities include,
-Physical hands on role, setting up, packing out and prepping equipment for events.
-Checking and preparing all equipment prior to set up and post event
-Liase and build positive relationships with suppliers, venues, caterers and other event contractors involved in our events
-Repair and maintenance of inventory
-Stock takes and inventory management
-Ensure a clean, tidy and well organised warehouse
-Shift work is required with varied work times each week, including midnight packouts and weekends
-Some out of town work on occasion.
Key attributes of the successful candidate include:
-Strong ability to multitask, with several tasks on the go at one time while meeting extremely tight deadlines and pressures
- Proven computer literacy to use a computerised stock/rental management system
- An independent worker who is friendly and fun with the ability to work within the small but dynamic team
- Strong people skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with customers and peers
- You will be rostered to work shift work with varied work times each week, including midnight packouts and weekends
- Fit and happy disposition
- Reliable, professional, honest and motivated
NZ Full Drivers licence and ability to drive manual vehicles/vans is essential. Class 2 Licence an advantage.
