We now have a unique opportunity for a driven and enthusiastic Warehouse Manager to join our Christchurch team.  At Online Distribution our managers lead from the front, working closely with staff on the warehouse floor to deliver excellent customer service.  As a manager of one of our key business units, you will oversee the smooth running of your site, including operational planning, staff leadership, financial control, container and freight management, and health & safety. 

We have several warehouses throughout New Zealand and each warehouse has its own set of customers, products and unique ways of operating. The role is fast-paced and gives you a strong sense of achievement and exposure to all levels of our business. This opportunity will engage you to inspire your team, generate new ideas, challenge existing concepts and play an important part in the future of our growing business.

The successful candidate will be a confident leader with the ability manage teams and juggle tasks in a multi-client, changing environment. You will be a team player with strong customer service experience and will enjoy both physical and mental challenges.

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

• Solid warehouse management experience (preferably 3PL)
• Ability to work with speed and accuracy, often to deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, including working with numbers
• Good understanding of financial management and operational planning
• Strong computer skills (including Excel)
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good forklift skills (ideally reach truck)
• Be physically well and strong, as some heavy lifting is required
• Hold a current Drivers Licence
