Our client, a leader in manufacturing and supplying of high quality plastic food containers, is now looking for a Quality assurance assistant/ technician for a 6 month contract role. You will ideally be a graduate with some exposure to a manufacturing environment. The role will involve quality assurance of plastic food containers, quality checks with measuring equipment, data management and reporting.

Your Responsibilities

• Quality assurance of packaging materials, compliant and meet agreed specifications prior to being used in production

• Checking, assessing and releasing finished goods according to compliance, relevant regulations and release criteria

• Ensure data management of results is accurate

• Ensure that products are manufactured to consistent quality standards meeting set specifications. Take action to correct any product quality issues.

• Ensure compliance with all safety initiatives, policies, strategies and legal requirements.

• Other duties as required

What are we looking for?

• Quality assurance or related degree

• Minimum of 6 months exposure to manufacturing, quality assurance and compliance
