Archant is in an exciting growth phase and has completed significant work on a future brand positioning and customer experience strategies. This work will see significant changes to the positioning of the business and includes the development of a comprehensive digital platform to underpin a digital marketing focus, and a physical showroom to facilitate a branded customer experience in key markets.
 
The role
 
We are looking for a National Operations and Distribution Manager to organize and oversee the daily operations of the company. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the business’s operational activities are well-coordinated, efficient, profitable and productive by managing its procedures and coaching its people.
 
This role has a broad area of responsibility and requires thorough knowledge of the company’s operations and distribution processes. The ideal candidate must be able to provide clear leadership and form excellent working relationships at all levels of the business. The over-riding goal is to safeguard and augment the efficiency of the company’s operations to facilitate accelerating development and long-term success.
 
The requirements
 
This is a key role within Archant and requires an excellent leader who can discover the most efficient ways to run the business.
 
You will have:
 

• A minimum of 5+ years proven experience in a senior operations role
• Proven experience in the implementation of automated warehouse management systems
• In-depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (e.g. operations, supply chain, warehouse)
• Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
• Outstanding communication and people skills
• Experience in taking the lead in operational change projects
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• A qualification with specific logistic, supply chain, planning components is highly desirable
• Proven computer literacy in Microsoft Office Products is also essential (knowledge of NetSuite is desirable)
• Kitchen industry experience, while not essential, is desirable.
