Select Recruitment is pleased to be partnering with our client in their search for a Stores Person for their Christchurch distribution operation. They are a successful FMCG organisation that produces and distributes their products. They are a market leader in their field, and the employer of choice for over 400 people.
The Stores Person will become part of a close knit team of 5 who are involved in the daily distribution of perishable food products. Your role will make you responsible for all inwards goods, unloading of trucks and processing all paper work for the receipting of goods. Other tasks will include picking orders, shrink wrapping goods, pallet rotations and stock takes.
To be the perfect fit for this 12 month parental leave role you will:
- Have forklift experience, an F endorsement would be ideal
- Have a good level of physical fitness
- Possess a high level of numeracy and literacy
- Being computer literate would also be ideal
- Be a team player who is helpful, supportive and enthusiastic
This is an ideal opportunity to work in a close knit team environment where you will gain experience across all areas of stores operations, yet be the front person for all inwards goods. The company offer excellent working conditions and training.
