Seeking Contractor - Stratford
Mail and Courier Services Contract
Expressions of interest are invited for an exciting new business opportunity with New Zealand Post. Operating as an independent small business contractor, you will be your own boss, responsible for the processing and delivery of Hawera's mail and courier services.
This is a viable contract in a great part of New Zealand. At around 151 hours of workload per week it is envisioned that you will work within the business and have a relief to meet all requirements of this contract. Current contractors employed by us may be interested in working in your team, please feel free to discuss this with us.
This is a six-day operation where you and your small team will be responsible for meeting the agreed service standards and upholding the New Zealand Post and CourierPost brand with pride.
If you are the successful contractor you will be required to provide the equipment needed to service this contract (approx. set up value $70,000 - $80,000) including a van that meets approval of the company, ebike, scanners and uniform.
Regardless of your previous excperience, if you are customer focused, have a high level of integrity and dedication, can resolve issues on the go and have the drive to exceed customer expectations. As part of your application you will need to complete and return a non-disclosure form by Wednesday 18th July 2018; after which we will send you an Expression of Interest pack.
Your application will need to include an operations plan, health and safety plan and your budget. It needs to be submitted in full by 1st August 2018.
The successful applicant and their staff will be subject to pre engagement drug testing.
