Our client, a leading global supplier of speciality and standard resins, vehicles, wax emulsions, additives and varnishes, operate in over 20 countries with 11 Manufacturing and Technology Centres throughout. Their strength is built on formulating technology, strategic raw material sourcing and a global network of manufacturing capabilities. The Mount Maunganui site, which also includes the regional headquarters, are seeking a Supply Chain and Procurement Manager to join their team. This purpose of this position is to lead the Supply Chain and Procurement Team which is responsible for Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, Demand Planning, Production Scheduling and Customer Service in Australia and New Zealand. You will report directly into the Global Director of Supply Chain and Procurement (offshore). This role is an integral part of the Operation therefore you will require: • Relevant Tertiary Qualification • Sound knowledge of operations in the Chemical Industry would be desirable • 10 + years’ experience in Supply Chain, Procurement and Logistics • A strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain, process improvement and optimisation • Proven leadership and people development skills, able to interact across all disciples and levels • Exceptional communication skills, along with prior ERP experience (SAP preferable) A full position description will be supplied should you be short-listed for this opportunity.
