Our Auckland City Hospital based Supply and Distribution team is looking for a
Delivery Support Clerk
team member with a friendly and outgoing nature to be part of their team.
The role:
As a Delivery Support Clerk you will provide a distribution service to all our customers both external and internal, which will be responsive, efficient and timely, in a manner which promotes good personal relations and enhances the value of the service provided.
You will be responsible for the unpacking, checking, receipting and delivery of goods to end users, basic administration functions, some fork truck, van and truck driving duties. You will be involved in a great deal of manual / physical handling of stock and trolleys distributed in a controlled / public environment.
Requirements:
Excellent customer service skills
Physically fit - ability to lift and carry goods as required, including heavy lifting at times
HT and / or fork truck licences, DG / HSNO approved handler's certification and stores/ distribution experience is preferred
Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain environment would be advantageous.
Knowledge of Oracle Applications or similar would be an advantage.
