The role:

AMP Capital Shopping Centres (AMPCSC) operates within the Real Estate Division of AMP Capital. AMPCSC is a full capability manager and developer of retail assets and employs over 250 property professionals. The business delivers investment performance through expertise in asset management, property management, development, leasing, finance, operations, marketing and retail design.

AMPCSC provides asset and property management expertise for a portfolio of 28 shopping centres across both Australia and New Zealand. Our vision is to be the pre-eminent manager of commercial property across Asia Pacific

The role is responsible for monitoring of two live developments for the project duration. This is a part time contract role and that the contract is tied to two specific development projects.Part of this role would be managing leasing forecasting efficiently and Inputting forecasting leasing metrics in MRI Investment Management Software. Supporting Deal Analysis against feasibility metrics and Providing support for Development feasibility work as directed.

The person:

Tertiary qualification in property / valuation / finance
An understanding of property fundamentals and valuation techniques
Understanding of cash flow and financial modelling skills;strong excel skills
Strong problem solving skills will be required in this role
Excellent presentation and communication skills with an eye for detail
Team player – supportive of colleagues with a style that promotes collaboration
