About the company
We have a few clients on the look out for experienced Business Development Managers to join their company. They have recognised branding out there in the market place in the freight forwarding industry, with great people to work with who work hard, and are genuine down to earth people
About the role
These roles are Business Development Manager roles and require candidates at a senior level where you are the face of the company, out there gaining new business opportunities. You will be given tools of trade to do the role and the support needed to achieve.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Obtain new business through prospecting and solution selling
- Meeting and exceeding KPI's
- Developing ongoing relationships to ensure you are cross selling and increasing revenue streams for the business
- Liaising with various departments including account managers to ensure clients are serviced
- Sales reporting and maintain CRM notes
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with;
- Proven BDM experience in freight forwarding
- Professionally savvy
- Excellent presentation with clear communication ability
- Ability to maintain your administration in CRM and working with tight KPI's
- Exceptionally self motivated and target driven
- Ability to manage key relationships
About the person
First and foremost, you need to be driven, a true hunter and drive to succeed. Freight forwarding experience and knowledge is a must along with a strong disciplined work ethic with the resilience to work in a competitive industry. You will maintain a professional standard out there in the market place, have the confidence to compete and the success there on in will lie with you.
