About the Role
Reporting to the Customer Service Coordinator, you will interact with key stakeholders across the operation on a daily basis. Your brief will centre on the safe, efficient and effective supply of empty containers to customers. Problem-solving, intuition and clear communication will all be highly valuable traits.
Duties
This is a hugely varied role, amongst a range of other tasks, you will...
- Produce production plans for depot activity
- Actively manage stock using the FIFO principle
- Audit container stocks and ensure systems up to date
- Liaise with customer service and warehouse supervisors to ensure availability
Skills and Experience
- Proven logistics experience, ideally with freight containers
- Familiarity with SAP, Jade and Excel all highly valued
- Enjoy working in a dynamic, highly reactive environment
- Positive team attitude and highly resilient in pressure situations
