Our client is New Zealand’s preferred supplier for Auckland electric train network. This multinational business is at the forefront of technology and is an integral part of building Auckland’s infrastructure. They are currently in expansion mode, with 15 brand new trains coming, they are looking to add to their team.
They are seeking an experienced Warehouse Storeman, who will become an important part of the team – learning all aspects of their Warehouse and maintenance operations and want to become a long term employee.

This role will involve:
- Managing in & outbound tools ·
- Full- filling operational tasks ·
- Reviewing & Supplying Maintenance orders ·
- Devanning activities ·
- Working as a team to meet targets ·
- Maintaining a high level of Health and Safety ·
- Fulfilling Record keeping and administration duties ·
- Managing the database & inventory ·
- Operate forklift and pallet jack ·
- Conduct stock take activities ·
- Conduct quality control activities ·
- Provide exceptional customer service to technicians at all times ·
You will form part of a passionate team and be required to adhere to strict Health and Safety regulations. This will require a strong work ethic and the ability to work in 24/7 operation with rotating shift patterns.
Skills and Attributes that you will need to be successful in this role:
- Attention to detail ·
- Physically fit ·
- Forklift license (F-Endorsed preferred but can get on the job) ·
- Full driver’s license ·
- Someone who wants to learn and will work hard to achieve ·
- Previous experience using Excel is essential (beginner to intermediate) ·
- Previous experience within the industry or a comparable environment ·
- Needs to be a bit technically minded ·
We are looking for the right fit and attitude – being friendly and reliable are a must! In Return you will have an above industry standard salary Above 60 K, with shift allowances, a laundered uniform, southern cross health insurance, 5 weeks annual leave AND long service leave every other year!
