Reporting to the Coolstore Manager, you must have the ability to contribute and engage within a highly demanding environment.  You will be able to provide efficient management of DMS coolstore supply chain which is an integral part to the success of our business. You will assist to ensure DMS is benefiting from the most cost-effective, efficient and timely delivery of our product; ensure product is stored and checked correctly; consumables are ordered; appropriate conditions in the cool store are maintained and recorded.

This role requires someone with the ability to anticipate delays, create solutions, maintain constant contact with suppliers and the in-house teams so that operations run smoothly. You will often have to think outside the square and solve problems, so your ability to rejig the day will not phase you, therefore being someone who understands the challenges of a fast paced and often unpredictable work environment.

• Fit, healthy and hands on with a willingness to undertake physical work and work unsociable hours
• Experience and working knowledge of the kiwifruit industry would be advantageous however relevant training will be provided to the successful applicant
• As important, someone who is improvement driven to make a mark on this role

This role will be primarily based in Te Puna so it is preferred that applicants reside in or around this area.
