Looking for an experienced demand planner to use their skill set in a 12 month contract in a FMCG based company.
Client Details
Our client is a FMCG company that manufactures and delivers quality products to customers around the world. With a number of products that have house-hold names this client is seeking a senior demand planner for a 12 month contract.
Description
In this role you will be working in the Operations team. You will be ensuring that 12 month forecasts are maintained with a focus on forecast accuracy. Part of this role will see you assisting the sales and marketing team by ensuring that sufficient stock is on hand for promotional activity. You ideally will have experience in people management as in this role you will have a direct report. You will have the ability to confidently lead forecast review meetings in collaboration with other teams in the business.
Profile
You will:
- Work collaboratively with wider teams to create demand plans that will meet business needs
- Have an excellent track record for achieving high forecasting accuracy
- Be savy with ERP systems
- Have experience in a fast paced environment doing demand planning
- Have strong numerical skills, backed up with advanced Excel skills
