We are seeking a Quality Officer who can manage, implement and monitor the day to day quality functions for production and all other related departments.
The Quality Officer will oversee manufacturing operations and assess the implementation of quality control plans.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A tertiary education in Science or Food Science is preferable but not essential.
- Proven experience in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing business in a quality department is desirable.
- Excellent working knowledge of quality systems and Health & Safety legislation.
- An understanding of raw materials management and production deadlines, with good skincare product knowledge appreciated
- Experience in problem solving with effective outcomes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and other related Office applications.
Key responsibilities in this role will include –
- Directing teams and manage relevant training on the shop floor
- Manage and direct projects and workload
- Manage all quality control activities in accordance with identified quality assurance standard, company procedures, client specifications and contract requirements.
