The New Zealand Sock Company is an international leader in the innovation and development of technical, Merino wool based socks. We are a proud family owned company with years of experience and skills, needless to say our team are passionate about socks! Our wonderful warehouse assistant is heading off for her big OE very soon and will be sadly missed by the NZ Sock Team.
Due to this, we are looking for an energetic, hands on, team player to support both our Warehouse and Further Processing Departments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Labelling and packing of socks.
- Running the automated packaging machines.
- Stocktaking and inventory control.
- Monthly reports for stock-takes on barcodes and packaging.
- Scanning of product and updating associated files and systems to reflect current status.
- Updating internal reports relating to these departments.
The ideal candidate would have a combination of the following skills and experience:
- Prior experience working in a factory environment and warehousing.
- Good level of understanding and ability to use MS Office Excel.
- Good understanding of internal systems and standard operating procedures.
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively to achieve department and company targets.
