We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Advisor with a solid understanding of food manufacture and quality management systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting the verification of non-conformance investigations within the production area, managing non-conforming product including grading decisions and recommendations for disposition.
The role requires close liaison with the Manufacturing and Services departments and will play an integral part in Customer, Regulatory and Quality Management System audits. Other responsibilities include risk assessments, HACCP, providing technical advice and preparing routine/non-routine reports.
Skills and attributes required to do this job include:
- Critical thinking and problem solving with tenacity
- Sound knowledge/proven experience in working with quality and food safety management systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy, including use of Excel
- Attention to detail and good time management
- A willingness to learn
A tertiary qualification in Food Science, or relevant laboratory or operating skills would be an advantage but is not essential.
