Machine Operator
Are you a hard worker? Are you able to work independently in a positive team environment? Work shift work between 6am – 11.45pm? Do you have good time management, work efficiently and enjoy problem solving? No experience required just the right attitude!
Labelmakers Ltd is looking for an outstanding Machine Operator to join our growing team. This position will support our fast-paced team who are responsible for the printing and manufacturing of labels/food packaging for a wide range of customers.
Duties will include:
- Being attentive to a stationery machine processing long run work
- Quality control and inspecting of printed products
- Working with light machinery within the post printing process
- Accurate documentation and daily reporting
- Adhering to Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining general housekeeping of equipment and department.
Essential skills to be successful in this role:
- Physically fit and strong with plenty of energy and able to be on your feet for the entirety of your shift
- Extremely reliable and trustworthy
- Excellent work ethic, self-motivated and willing to go the extra mile
- Ability to compute quickly and accurately
- Attention to detail and excellent accuracy with numbers
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work quickly to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining quality work outputs
- High levels of initiative and motivation and the ability to problem solve efficiently and effectively
- Be a strong, customer focussed individual
- Own transport and full licence preferred due to hours of work
This position would suit someone who enjoys repetition in their daily activity, and who takes pride in the work they produce, their machine and area.
