ASL is a Contract Electronics Manufacturer specialising in providing flexible and tailored manufacturing solutions to a range of customers. Their reputation is as a trusted partner with the flexibility to meet the demands of smaller prototyping, or full production runs, through to assisting and supporting with design for manufacture or the provision of complete ‘Turnkey’ solutions. These solutions include Supply Chain management and test engineering solutions for electro mechanical products. ASL has within the last year invested in new capital equipment and relocated to larger purpose built premises to meet the needs of its’ customers. As a result ASL has a growing broad customer base that includes the Agritech, Medical, Industrial, Scientific and Transport sectors.
This role is key to ensure accurate and timely material management, to be able to manufacture and deliver customer products to specification and on time. It encompasses goods inwards, ERP data entry, maintenance of inventory for customer kits, stock integrity and goods out. Multiple jobs are run through the day in a high mix environment meaning exceptionally varied and differing product mix. You will be working closely with planning and production to meet manufacturing deadlines.
ASL operates within the hi-tech sector and manufactures using a range of advanced automated equipment and serves many of New Zealand’s hi-tech businesses.
To be successful you will ideally have come from an Electronics manufacturing environment with a disciplined approach to process and strong eye for detail. You will be expected to have experience with ERP systems, have excellent communication skills and have the drive to ensure inventory status is correct and known as needed across the team. Your attitude towards people, process and customers is one of continuously striving to do things better.
