We are a successful and dynamic International Freight Forwarding organisation and are seeking an experienced and hands-on Seafreight Operational and Customer Services Manager to join and Auckland branch
About the role
The role entails the following:o
Managing & Handling the daily Seafreight Operations
Liaising with Shipping Lines, Airlines, Customs, Customers and Staff to ensure timely movement of cargo.
Assist in Staff Management
Work strategically with the Branch Manager to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
Liaising with Overseas offices
Following up queries from Clients

Skills and experience
We are looking for someone with minimum 5 years experience in International Freight Forwarding (predominately in Sea Freight) and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
The person must have the ability to "think outside of the box" to create workable creative solutions along with a strong attention to detail
They must be dedicated and committed and also lead by example within our team
