Business is booming at Hydraulink which is good news for you because now our ISO certified Penrose Distribution Centre is in need of an additional permanent person for the warehouse team to share the ever increasing workload, especially inwards goods.
The Job
This is a great place to start your career with Hydraulink! You will get to join a highly motivated, super friendly team and learn heaps. Whilst your main focus will be ensuring the flow of inwards goods are processed efficiently and then accurately stored ready for distribution, you will also have the opportunity to cross train and so multi-skill across different roles including dispatching, hose kit manufacture and more.
The Person
A flexible, adaptable type, you will have previous inwards goods experience but equally important is a great work ethic and a motivated attitude. Ideally we are looking for someone with:
- Minimum NCEA Level 2 or above
- Ideally a relevant qualification in warehousing or logistics
- Physically fit, able to lift minimum of 25kgs on a repetitive basis
- Experience of using RF Scanner technology
- A current Forklift licence (preferably with F and long reach endorsements)
- Advanced level fluency in English (read/write/speak)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work overtime if required.
