As a key part of Global Transaction Banking, Merchant Services are a specialist sales and service team offering merchant acquiring expertise and solutions to bank-wide Retail, Business Banking and CBA NZ customers. We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated sales and service focused individual wanting to build experience in the fast paced merchant payments area.
What you will do
As a Merchant Sales Consultant, you will provide specialist phone based advice and support to our internal business partners, third party sales channels as well as attending to inbound 0800 calls direct from the public for merchant service needs. You will promote and implement profitable technology and payment solutions across a range of offerings including EFTPOS, mobile payments, Visa PayWave, MasterCard PayPass, eCommerce, Invoicing solutions, Software as a Service (SaaS) and traditional credit card facilities; all while delivering unbeatable service and assisting our clients to meet their financial objectives through the appropriate promotion of banking products and services suited to their needs.
What we are looking for
You will have a passion for excellence, unbeatable teamwork and unbeatable service. A strong and confident telephone manner and the ability to work a sales pipeline will underpin your success.
Previous exposure to Merchant Services products is preferred, but not essential.
