EPL are looking for Extrusion Machine Operators at the Christchurch facility working on our extrusion production lines.  This role involves operating our extruder machines, changing the dies, packing the product and ensuring the product quality as per the specification.

The ideal candidate will

• Have prior experience in machine operation –  Understanding of plastics extrusion processes a bonus!
• Good understanding of English, both verbal and written.
• Be Health and Safety focussed
• Have a strong focus on Quality.
• Fantastic numeracy and literacy skills combined with mechanical competency
• Be a proactive problem solver.
• Be an NZ Citizen or NZ Resident
• Have a high level of accuracy  and attention to detail.
• Be a team player
• Full drivers Licence and Forklift Licence (OSH)
• Be flexible in terms of shift patterns and times as they vary
• Pass a drug test
