It’s an exciting time at Sorted Logistics! We are a dynamic company experiencing significant growth and expansion and have a strong focus on Keeping Our Mates Safe (K.O.M.S) and ensuring the business complies with government regulations and customer requirements.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about leading, planning, establishing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of health and safety compliance initiatives to ensure the highest possible degree of safety for workers across all sites. The Compliance Manager is a great fit within an employee-oriented, high-performance culture which emphasizes empowerment, and safety at all times.
The role holds accountability for the advice of Directors and Management in Compliance issues to ensure the business complies with government regulations and customer requirements.
To be considered for this position you will have a profile, skills and attributes that demonstrate:
- Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work (2015) Act and its implications.
- Experience in ensuring compliance with industry bodies, MPI, and within government regulations.
- Leadership ability to engage workers and drive change, with experience designing and conducting internal courses.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing health and safety strategies and assessing risks.
- Ensuring customer-specific compliance – for example, RMP organic certification.
- Tertiary qualification or qualified by experience, with alignment with professional bodies.
- Proven ability to oversee planning, scheduling and ratification of policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and in resolving conflict.
