Our client is a leading metal packaging manufacturer and is on the lookout for skilled and experienced End Makers. The purpose of these roles will be to operate the machinery to optimum productivity levels as well as maintaining safe work environments and producing quality products. These can ends are manufactured for high quality food and nutritional products and therefore must be manufactured to the highest standard. You will have full production experience of running, setting and changeover of press / curler / liner with a focus on Sanitary ends.
To be considered for these positions you will:
- Be an experienced End Maker; 5 years’ experience in an End maker position.
- Be familiar with working to good quality systems ISO 90002, HACCP, GMP as well as health and safety procedures
- Experienced in the operation of Alfons-Haar end presses including maintenance of
- Have operated coil lines, coating lines and end presses
- Have tremendous attention to detail and be quality focussed
- Be focused on continuous improvement
These are very specialised positions and we are looking for candidates with exceptional attention to detail, excellent understanding of machinery and a strong ability to diagnose faults, perform basic maintenance and effectively operate the end presses and other lines.
