This Production Managers role is based in Wanganui reporting to the General Manager Wanganui and will suit a motivated individual wanting to utilise their leadership, organisational and production skills

We are a well-established supplier of commercial aluminium window and door systems servicing clients in the North Island offering them the complete aluminium joinery package. Because of this service we have grown to be one of the largest aluminium joinery businesses in New Zealand.

In this role you will work closely with the Procurement/Logistics Manager to provide leadership and direction to the production team to ensure they deliver product that is manufactured to exacting standards and in a timely manner to meet construction programs.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills

• Be a great communicator.
• Have strong leadership skills and a proven ability to build high performing, motivated manufacturing teams.
• Have technical expertise for problem resolving with factory staff.
• Ability to co-ordinate the delivery of production.
• Ensure Health and Safety policies are in action and followed.
• Manage the preparation of quality assurance documentation.
• Ensure machinery maintenance programmes are following.
• Have the ability to prioritise work and work to deadlines.
• Be computer literate
• Have a strong customer deliverance focus
• Be a management team player
