About the Job
This is a Senior Leadership role reporting to GM Quality offering a great opportunity to work within a growing team based across 4 countries.
As part of our drive to grow our Direct Sourced Own Brand Range this role will see you ensuring that Compliance and fit for use is always front of mind.
We are looking for strong Technical capability ideally with experience across non-electrical Hard Goods categories – baby, home, furniture, toys, food etc. You will need experience of leading and motivating our busy team within a fast-paced & ever changing retail environment.
This role works with core Business stakeholders across Sourcing including buyers and Design but also requires an understanding and ability to work across our Supply base to ensure that we are achieving Best Quality through partnership relations:
- Managing workload and workflow across your assigned categories
- Ensure all compliance and legal standards are met
- Update process and issue Guidelines
- Develop and implement Appropriate QA/ QC plans across supply base
- Support customer complaint investigations and recommend CAPs
About You
This is a fantastic opportunity for Leader with Technical experience and an understanding risk management to step into a strategic role with room for future growth where you'll be able to influence & have an impact on what Best Practice looks like.
You will be a stickler for details with top notch written and verbal communications skills as you will be expected to collaborate effectively across multiple countries & time zones.
Sourcing is not for the faint hearted, it is extremely fast-paced and demanding with many tight deadlines and risk factors, but we love it!
