Our Key Client is a well-respected and a well known brand in the Retail industry that has been operating in New Zealand for over 150 years. Due to an increase in Volume and work load, their busy Distribution Centre based in Wiri has a need for multiple Senior Storepersons.
Reporting to the PM Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and directing the team in your designated area. You will have a hands on approach, a keen can do attitude and not be afraid of hard work.
Your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Receive and unpack incoming goods
- Train and mentor your team
- Forecast work load and plan ahead
- Liaise with other internal teams to ensure efficiency and productivity levels are maintained
- Not afraid to speak up, and implement changes
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong leadership abilities, an ability to motivate and mentor your team
- A strong desire for Health & Safety
- A keen can do attitude
- Current OSH Fork Hoist & Reach Certificate
