This role is part of the Operations & Service Group which is made up of LIC's production laboratories, farming operations and the field teams (AB and Herd Testing) who deliver LIC's product on farm. This group is responsible for the strategy of delivering on the promise we make to our customers and for keeping our people safe.
- Based at Riverlea Rd, Hillcrest, Hamilton
- Fixed shift option (Day or Evening)
- Full training provided - no experience necessary
- $18.13 (gross) per hour
We have vacancies for seasonal staff and casual staff in two teams: Weigh Team and Wash Team. Our season normally runs from mid-August to early May.
About You
As part of the Weigh Station team you will be responsible for weighing and sub sampling milk samples whilst continually checking the integrity of the results. As part of the Wash Team you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing equipment to go out to the field.
With a 'can-do' attitude, your focus will be to deliver quality outcomes, and you'll have excellent eye for detail. You'll enjoy working within a team, and be someone who likes to think outside the box to help continuously improve our work environment.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment and you'll be able to cope with repetitive tasks and be reasonably fit, as standing and some lifting is required.
