Our Packing division requires an experienced Team Leader to take responsibility for the afternoon shift operations of the department. The afternoon shift is 3.45pm - 11.45pm. You will be an experienced Manager used to meeting production targets with a Continuous Improvement mind-set who provides leadership and support to your team creating a positive team culture. You will have had experience working across diverse packing lines in a GMP environment. You will work across multiple lines using your mechanical/technical understanding and expertise to trouble shoot and problem solve. Further responsibilities will also include resourcing on lines and payroll accountability.
To be considered for this role you will possess the following skills and experience:
- At least 5 years' experience in cGMP manufacturing environment (FMCG/Pharma) with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Hands on experience on diverse packing lines
- Proven leadership skills within a medium sized work group
- Strong quality and H&S focus and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational, planning, documentation, reporting and communication skills
- Computer literate with Microsoft applications
- Continuous improvement focus with knowledge of lean manufacturing principals
- Proven trouble shooting and problem solving skills with ability to think laterally
- Positive mind-set with proven skills in team development and management
