Plant Accountant

Due to this rapid growth, we have a full-time vacancy available for a Plant Accountant to join our team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager you will be responsible for the management of daily financial work and close communication with head office in China.

Key tasks include:

o General accounting work: tax preparation, A/R, foreign currency A/P, monthly/annual P&L and balance sheet
o Management financial reporting: financial review of invoices, inventory costing, recoveries, product cost analysis
o Consolidated reporting as per group (China based) requirement
o Fixed asset management

To be successful in the role you will have:

o Solid knowledge and qualification in accounting area
o Good knowledge in Ostendo and Xero
o 3-5 years NZ corporate financial accounting experience in manufacturing environment, preferably in infant formula plant
o Skills in oral and written communication in English, preferably also in Chinese
o Proficiency in providing direction and on the job training to assigned personnel.
o Accuracy and attention to detail
