We are looking for Team Leader  to assist the Outbound Operations Supervisor in the handling of day to day distribution, workload while providing support to Warehouse Staff. You will provide high quality service to our customers through safe, efficient, damage fee, cost effective and accurate handling of inventory.

This is an excellent opportunity for focused individuals with a strong work ethic that are willing to go that extra mile to ensure our customers are kept as our primary focus.

The successful candidates will have the following attributes:

  • Responsible for maintaining work areas to satisfaction of Warehouse Manager/Supervisor/ Team Leader.
  • Able to work Monday to Friday and overtime when required
  • Oversee day to day operation for one or more of our customers and able to delegate tasks to ensure deadlines are meet.
  • Ability to train and explain duties and assist in the solution of problems
  • Responsible for shipping, warehousing, packing, and/or shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service level agreement.
  • Identify needs and make recommendations regarding department procedures and policy changes.
  • Assist with inventory control issues and corrections
  • Create an inspiring team environment with open communication culture
  • Cover for all warehouse functions and assist staff when required
  • Ensure departmental key performance indicators (KPI) are being met
  • Provide input on the evaluation of employee performance, employee disciplinary action and promotional requirements of employees
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards the company, customers, and co-workers.
  • Ability to carry out instruction and to multitask.
  • Honest and Reliable
  • Team player with a positive attitude and able to follow directions
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Good organisational and time-management skills

  • Basic Computer Skills                    
  • RF Scanners/Pick to Voice experience
  • WMS functions
  • Strong mathematical and literacy and analytical skills
  • Strong command of the English language in reading, written and oral communication skills
  • Mature outlook and high regard to work quality and performance
  • Physically fit and Healthy (Heavy lifting maybe required)
  • High work ethic with "hands on" attitude
  • Have own reliable transport
  • A clean full drivers licence - Class 1 

Preferred qualifications

  • 5+ years experience working in a warehouse/logistics environment
  • Current or prior MHE Certification Education and/or Experience
