Platinum Recruitment is pleased to be working with a successful national company, who’s products are sent all over the world for everyone to enjoy.
We are looking for a strong leader to manage the freight operation of the Northern Region (Tasman area), including the trucks, drivers and getting the freight requirements moved to the correct destinations on time and intact, whilst being the most cost effective way possible.
You will need to have experience in the freight industry and managing staff. Health and safety is imperative in today’s business, so knowledge of the rules/regulations as well as making sure that all staff follow these regulations as well as you is a must, so leading by example.
 
Duties include:

• Record all freight movements through ICos
• All staff adhere to company’s SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
• Health and Safety focus
• Ensuring all vehicle are serviced/maintained correctly
• Comply with company and NZTA rules and regulations
• Managing all freight staff in the region
