The role:
The role of Process Operator is to ensure the efficient operation of DGC's manufacturing facilities. The Process Operator must follow all plant standard operating procedures, carry out instructions as detailed in the risk management plan and adhere to the quality system and procedures. All plant activities must be conducted in a manner that ensures compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice.
Day to day responsibilities include:
The position involves shift work, covering nights and weekends in a 4 on 4 off pattern.

Day to day responsibilities include:
- Preparing materials for processing
- Carrying out activities supporting the processing plant
- Following quality requirements and standard operating procedures
- Completing quality and process documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance.
- Working closely with the plant team to meet production requirements
- Maintaining very high levels of plant hygiene and work space organization
The position involves shift work, covering nights and weekends in a 4 on 4 off pattern.
Key skills and experience required:
- Driver's License.
- Supportive team member who is flexible, adaptable and self-motivated.
- A level of physical material handling
- Proactive, can-do attitude.
- Planning, organising and problem solving capability
- Computer literate.
- Physically fit with a high level of personal hygiene.
- Effective communication skills and personal safety awareness.
- Attention to detail and quality focused - highly regulated food industry.
