In this role you will:

• Build, develop and lead the warehouse team
• Foster strong working relationships with store Proprietors, departments and the Administration  team
• Champion Health and Safety and ensure you operate a safe site
• Drive overall productivity of the warehouse operation, ensuring best use of operational space and resources
• Deliver quality service to the store and customers
• Manage an effective roster for the warehouse to meet the needs of the business including work on weekends and public holidays as required

 The skills and experience you’ll need to bring with you include:

• Warehouse management or supervisory experience in a medium to large operational environment
• An understanding of OHS legislation, best practice and familiarity with lifting techniques
• Well developed knowledge of warehousing practices and standards
• Experience leading and managing teams, and building team culture
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
• A customer first approach and willingness to go the extra mile for the customer
• Good computer skills
• Current, clean, full NZ driver’s license.
