We are a privately owned manufacturer of packaging products based in central Christchurch (Suburb of Middleton) and are looking for staff (not just anyone) who enjoys working in a busy and varied environment.

You do not need experience in our industry, we are happy to train you, however you will want to learn and enjoy taking on new challenges.

You will be physically fit and able to be working on your feet all day (not a sit down job) and a level of lifting is required. Your positive personality will ensure that the other team members will enjoy working alongside you each day.

You may have previous manufacturing experience that will assist you in understanding the basis of setting up  machinery, packing of pallets, quality assurance programs or be a person who enjoys the challenges of learning new things.

You will be someone who has no problem getting to work (you have reliable personal transport, if not, please do not apply) and when you get to work wants to make a positive difference to the business and the team around you.

You will ideally be able to:

- operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- meet set production targets and timelines (once trained)
- produce a high quality of finished product

- be able to work unsupervised and within a team environment and ideally hold a current OSH forklift certificate

We are looking for candidates that are self motivated, take pride in the finished product and are prepared to get stuck in to the job at hand

You will be customer focused and understand the importance of meeting the customer expectations for quality, delivery performance.
